Memberships and Fan Clubs: What You Actually Get
Three kinds of recurring payment exist on the big two platforms. Here is what each one buys, what it costs and how to cancel.
Chaturbate Supporter
| Price | $19.95 a month |
|---|---|
| Includes | No ads, anonymous tipping, messaging performers first, custom chat colours, room previews, and a one-time 200-token bonus |
| Tokens | Only the one-time bonus; later months add none |
| Cancel | Memberships tab in your profile |
Worth it if you were going to buy about 200 tokens anyway and value anonymous tips; less so after the first month unless the extras matter to you.
Stripchat Ultimate
| Price | Shown at purchase; sold as a single month, monthly or yearly |
|---|---|
| Includes | Invisible mode, anonymous tipping, unlimited private messages, stream previews on hover, members-only promotions |
| Tokens | None included |
| Trial | 7 free days with certain card-bought token packs, if you have never had Ultimate; tick the box at checkout |
| Cancel | My Subscriptions |
Invisible mode is the standout for privacy: performers do not see you in the viewer list.
Chaturbate Fan Clubs
A fan club is a subscription to one broadcaster. He sets the price between 50 and 2,500 tokens a month. Pay by card and you are billed monthly; pay in tokens and three months are charged at once. Members show a green username in his room, can start private messages, and get his fan-club-only content. You can join as many fan clubs as you like and cancel from the Memberships tab.
Which, If Any?
- Mostly browsing: none; both platforms are free to watch.
- Want to tip without your name showing: Supporter or Ultimate.
- Want to be invisible in rooms: Ultimate.
- One favourite performer: his fan club.
