Interactive Toys on Gay Cams: A Viewer's Guide

In a toy-enabled room, your tip doesn't just say thanks. It makes the performer's toy vibrate or pulse for a set time. Here's how that works, what it costs, and where to find men who use them.

How Common Are Toy Rooms?

At 6:13 AM US Central on Friday, October 30, 2026, Chaturbate's public list showed 976 male rooms. Of those, 148 carried an interactive-toy tag, and 145 used #lovense specifically. That's about one in seven. In women's rooms the share was higher, 961 of 4,411 used #lovense, so toy shows are a bigger habit there, but there's plenty of choice among men.

How a Toy Room Works

Most performers use Lovense's Cam Extension, which links their toy to the tip feed. They set levels: a range of tokens, a strength and a duration. Tip within a range and the toy runs at that level for that many seconds. Tips are queued, so if several people tip at once, each one plays in turn.

Performers can also enable special commands for particular tip amounts. Lovense lists patterns such as Earthquake, Fireworks, Wave, Pulse, Random Level and Random Time, plus Give Control, which sends the tipper a control link for a set time. Pause Queue and Clear Queue let the performer stop things. The room's tip menu or a pinned message usually lists which amounts trigger what.
